Stella is a fine art photographer based in San Francisco, currently pursuing her BFA at California College of the Arts. She grew up in the rural small town of Bolinas, California, which informed her connection to nature and need to document her sisters growing up and the unique community that surrounds her. Through intimate portraits of her sisters and friends, Stella mirrors her own childhood and life, blending autobiographical memory with a poignant portrayal of Girlhood and the tender intricacies of sisterhood. Her work weaves personal history with a celebration of the feminine experience, offering a raw and powerful exploration of memory, identity, and connection. Additionally, Stella works with family archives, piecing together moments that resonate her own growing into a woman.
Her work has been exhibited at Marin Moca Museum and Bolinas Museum along with countless group shows in San Francisco.
